Although in Lockdown we are technically able to meet, most of our churches have decided that, for the sake of people’s safety, there will be no in-person worship at this time. Only Mursley will be holding ½ hour services in church each week. We don’t want to encourage travelling between the villages as this increases risk but if you are thinking about attending at Mursley and don’t on a regular basis please make contact with the Church Wardens first.

This week then we have:

9:30 – Mursley, Morning Prayer
10:00 – Zoom, Holy Communion

For those worshipping privately, the collect and readings for this Sunday can be downloaded here.

For the communion service, please have with you a small amount of bread and wine, plate and glass, to use in worship. The service booklet for reading on a computer is here, or for printing out as a booklet is here.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity also starts this week on Monday (18th). The theme this year is ‘Abiding in Christ’. There is text for a service you can use to worship at home during the week and a booklet for the daily reading and meditation. Please have a look at them and consider using them to join with Christians of all denominations learning what it means to be ‘in Christ’ at a time of international pandemic.

The service is here and the booklet is here.

Our next Zoom Coffee Morning will be this Wednesday, 20th, at 10:30.

Blessings,

David, Associate Minister

Covid instructions

We are in Lockdown: ‘Stay at Home’. The rules for Public Worship on distancing, scanning-in or registering. and wearing face coverings remain unchanged, whether or not you have been vaccinated.

But do remember that just because we can gather as church in person does not mean we should. Please consider meeting online if you feel unsafe, or follow one of the diocesan worship resources.
