Sunday November 29th – Advent Sunday

This Sunday there will be a Zoom service only at 10:00. Login details are supplied on the distributed email. This is the last Sunday of lock-down as things stand. Even though we only return to Tier 2 locally during the week, next Sunday (Dec 6th) we are still able to gather for worship again physically in addition to gathering online.

For this Advent Sunday service you will need to have your own Advent Candle to hand and the means to light it. One candle is sufficient, but if you have a full set of candles or a wreath then by all means use them. We will be lighting them together near the start of the service.

We will be using the standard service of Morning Prayer that we have been using for several months now that is found here to print and here to read online. You will also need to download the set of Advent Wreath Responses here.

For those still worshipping privately at home the collect and readings can be downloaded here.

Or the Diocesan selection of services can still be found here.

The Wednesday coffee morning on Zoom will run again this week. The current plan is still to run these fortnightly as far as possible. They will follow the same login details as the services and will be at 10:30am.

Covid instructions

Locally, from Dec 2nd, we will be in Tier 2, High Risk. However, for Public Worship the instructions for distancing, scanning-in or registering. and wearing face coverings remain unchanged from the old Tier 1 we were in before the lock-down.
