Sunday July 26th – Trinity 7

Hello everyone,

There will be a Family Service at Mursley at 11:00, for which you might like to bring your own pencil or crayons. If you forget, then quarantined church crayons will be available!

For the online service you are encouraged to join either the Deanery reflection from Val Plumb here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcGpccO5WcY&feature=youtu.be (last week – reading: Mark 6:30-35)
or this week’s reflection now available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzDcExMyVUI&feature=youtu.be
(reading: John 20:1-18 – from the feast of Mary Magdalene on Wednesday)

or the Diocesan service here: https://www.oxford.anglican.org/coronavirus-covid-19-2/livestream/ (available from 9:55 a.m. on the day. Order of service incorporating readings, collect etc. for this and your own, private devotions are also available from the same page now).

There will also be a Parish, lay-led service of Morning Prayer at Drayton at 10:00.

Please gather as church somewhere in one (or several!) of these places this Sunday.

Please also note the following from the Diocese concerning face coverings, in effect from Friday 24th July following the government’s latest update:

We strongly advise that face coverings should be worn by all those attending a place of worship, including ministers, worshippers, staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors, where there may be other people present; remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and that they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.

David
